Christian Atsu Reportedly Found Alive. Former Chelsea winger and Black stars star man, Christian Atsu, according to reports from www.eurosport.com, has been found alive after an initial report that he was missing following the earthquake on Monday in Turkey and Syria.

Christian Atsu was among the casualties who have unfortunately affected after the earthquake on Monday in Turkey together with some of his teammates from Hatayspor and some members of the management of the club.
The initial report was that the 31-year-old was stuck under the rubble after the earthquake that destroyed and took the lives of over 1000 in Turkey.
However, the news from Eurosports.com says the Vice president of the club Hatayspor confirms the Ghanaian International who previously played for Newcastle in the English Premier League, Christian Atsu, has been found alive.
According to the reports, Christian Atsu was found under the wreckages following a thorough search. The diminutive and sharp winge was rescued injured and has since been taken to the hospital.
“Christian Atsu was removed from the wreckage with injuries,” he told local media. “Unfortunately, our sporting director Taner Savut is still under the rubble.” Mustafa Ozata said as reported by Eurosport.com
The initial report said Christian Atsu was on the 9th floor before the heartbreaking incident in Turkey. He was in Hatay, one of the regions in Turkey that were affected by the earthquake.
Apart from Turkey, Syria was also affected by the Earthquake. Besides Christian Atsu, his teammates Onur Ergun and Burak Oksuz were rescued alive.
Atsu’s only goal for Htayspor came on Sunday, January 5, 2023, after he whipped in last minutes freekick that gave the club a win against Kasimpasa.
