Court Reportedly Fines Afia Schwarzenegger GHC60,000 For Contempt. A court in Accra has ordered Ghanaian socialite and Comedienne, Afia Schwarzenegger known in real life as Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa to pay an amount of GH60,000 over contempt following a previous ruling of her case involving Chairman Wontumi,Myjoyonline.com has confirmed the news.

The report said the court in Tema ordered Afia Schwarzenneger to pay an additional GHC5000 to the Ashanti Regional New Patriotic Party Chairman, Bernard Antwi Bosaiko, known widely as Chairman Wontumi.
On December 1, 2022, Afia was sentenced to 10 days in prison following her comments about the pending case in court with Chairman Wontumi.
During the pronouncement of the Judgment, the socialite was absent from court which led the court to issue a bench warrant for the arrest of Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa known widely as Afia Schwarzenneger.
On December 20,22, Afia and her lawyer appeared in court following her apology and pleaded with the court to consider its judgment of the case.
The High court in Tema, presided over by Justice Emmanuel Ankamah, on January 31, 2023, according to Myjoyonlinec.com changed his judgment and ordered Afia to pay an amount of GHC60,000 to 5000 penalty units.
According to further reports, Afia was made to sign a bond to be of good behavior and desist from and not engage in commenting on the case for the period of 36 months.
Ghanaweb.com reports that Afia Schwarzenegger was further banned from social media for a period of two years.
Afia Schwarzenegger VS Chairman Wontumi CaseĀ
Afia, last year, accused the NPP Chairman of engaging in a relationship with her. But, the politician denied the allegation. This led to the back and forth between the two friends.
Afia Scwarneneger took the matter to the popular spiritual home in the volta Region referred to as Nopkopko following comments by Maurice Ampaw who is a comrade to Chairman Wontumi and doubles as a lawyer.
Chairman Wontumi took the matter to court. Afia, later, appeared to discuss the case on United Showbiz with Nana Ama McBrown, Mr. Logic, and A plus.
Chairman Wontumi sued the four of them. The initial ruling was each was ordered to pay GHC60,000 to the court for 5000 penalty units.
Afia Schwarzenegger was jailed for 10 days but was absent from Court.
