He also called on media houses to uphold professionalism by discouraging sensationalism and personal attacks. To prevent further division, he urged the Regional Party Leadership and the Council of Elders to step in and facilitate a private resolution. Goaso, Ghana – February 4, 2025 – Former Member of Parliament for Asunafo North, Hon. Robert Sarfo Mensah (Booba), has issued a strong call for peace, unity, and an immediate end to the ongoing public exchanges between Mr. Adomako Baafi and Hon. Evans Bobie Opoku. He urged both gentlemen to cease further public confrontations and handle their differences in a more dignified and party-centered manner.

Addressing the situation following Mr. Adomako Baafi’s verbal attack on Hon. Bobie Opoku during an interview on Success FM and Nananom FM, Hon. Booba emphasized the importance of maintaining decorum, especially among senior figures within the New Patriotic Party (NPP). While condemning Mr. Adomako Baafi’s initial remarks, he also expressed disappointment in Hon. Bobie Opoku’s response on Success FM, stating that it only escalated tensions rather than fostering peace.

Hon. Booba stressed that both men have played critical roles in the party’s growth, and as such, any grievances should be addressed internally, rather than through public exchanges that could harm the party’s unity and public image.

To ensure a swift resolution, Hon. Booba called on the Regional Party Leadership and the Council of Elders to intervene in the matter. He urged them to engage both parties and facilitate a private resolution that upholds the integrity and unity of the NPP.
