Award-winning singer and songwriter, KiDi has tipped top three artistes amongst which he believes one is likely to clinch the covetous Artiste of the Year Award at this year’s Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
The ‘Mon Bebe’ hit maker made his projections during in an interview with Giovani Caleb on Showbiz 360 on May 3.
KiDi is hopeful any of these artistes; Stonebwoy, Nacee and King Promise will win the Artiste of the Year on the night of the awards.
“I will give you my top three. They are Nacee, Stonebwoy and King Promise,” KiDi said.
The other artistes in the category includes; Sarkodie, Black Sherif and Kuami Eugene.
The awards ceremony will be held on June 1, 2024.
Meanwhile, Gospel musician Nacee who has also been nominated for the Artiste of the Year award wishes he had been listed for Songwriter of the Year.
Speaking in an interview with TV3 on May 3, Nacee said he thought his compositions and lyrical substance merited nomination for the said category.
“Unfortunately, one of the categories that we wish we would have been nominated for is the Songwriter of the Year because in Aseda, the composition is really deep,” he said.
