Demi Moore has shared a heartwarming tribute to her ex-husband, Bruce Willis, on his first birthday since being diagnosed with dementia. The couple, who were married from 1987 to 2000, share three daughters: Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah. In an Instagram video posted on Sunday, the Hollywood actress offered fans a glimpse into Willis’ 68th birthday celebrations, which included his current wife Emma Heming Willis, his daughters, and other family members.
Moore captioned the video with a sweet message, writing, “Happy birthday, BW! So glad we could celebrate with you today. Love you and love our family. Thank you to everyone for the love and warm wishes — we all feel them.”
The clip shows Willis’ loved ones singing “Happy Birthday” to the retired actor before he blows out the candles on his birthday pie. It’s clear that Willis is surrounded by love and support from his family, including his ex-wife.
Earlier in the day, Heming Willis also shared a candid message on Instagram about caring for someone living with dementia. She expressed her feelings of grief and sadness while acknowledging the challenges that come with the disease. Heming Willis and Willis married in 2009 and have two daughters, Mabel and Evelyn.
While the couple has gone through their fair share of ups and downs, it’s heartening to see them come together to celebrate such an important milestone in Willis’ life. Their show of support for each other and their family serves as a reminder of the importance of family and the strength that can come from forgiveness and love. It’s a touching tribute to a Hollywood icon who has touched the hearts of many through his work on the big screen.
