Ghanaian Afrobeats sensation Camidoh has kicked off his East African media tour in support of his latest EP, “A Life Time Is Not Enough” (A.L.T.I.N.E.). The talented singer-songwriter began his tour in Uganda this week, where he connected with prominent media outlets such as NBS TV Uganda and NRG Radio Uganda.
During his appearances, Camidoh discussed his music career, and passion for the craft, and shared tracks from his new EP.
Before arriving in Uganda, Camidoh made a stop in Kenya, where he met with industry heavyweights and shared his plans for the year. His engagements included interviews with Soundcity Radio Kenya, Capital FM Kenya, and Pulse Kenya. Later this month, the artist is expected to continue his media tour in Tanzania, wrapping up his promotional activities across East Africa.
In addition to his media tour, Camidoh recently released a music video for “Adoley,” the second track from his “A Lifetime Is Not Enough” EP. Directed by renowned Ghanaian director REX, the video showcases a blend of urban and traditional Ghanaian and Nigerian street vibes, giving it a global appeal.
“A Life Time Is Not Enough” was released in January as Camidoh’s official sophomore studio record, following the success of his 2020 album “Contingency Plan.”
The new EP features six tracks and includes a collaboration with fellow Ghanaian singer-songwriter Cina Soul. Since its release, the project has received positive feedback from industry professionals, music journalists, and critics, and is currently enjoying widespread airplay across the country.
Oh, I wish I could be there to see Camidoh’s performances! But I’ve got my hands full.
