Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus has been named in the 2023 forbes 30 under 30 Africa list.
Every year Forbes features a list of 600 individuals under the age of 30, who have impactful careers and/or accomplishments across a span of industries which include healthcare, science, consumer technology, Hollywood, retail, social media, sports, finance and more.
The Ghanaian and Ajax footballer who has been in great form for his club and country joins the likes of Asisat Oshoala, Nigerian striker for Spanish club FC Barcelona and the Nigeria women’s national team, Jacques Jordaan of South Africa co-founder and director of Specno and Blessing Joel Abeng, Nigeria co-founder and director of communications, Ingressive for goods, among others.
This comes on the back of Kudus’ great performances for both club and country starting from the world cup where he was Ghana’s standout performer despite an early exit for the Black stars.
Kudus carried his form from the World Cup to club football putting up more great performances for his club side Ajax. The midfielder has netted 11 goals and provided 2 assists in 26 appearances in the Eredivisie according to German-based footballing information website Transfermarkt.
Kudus Mohammed has also made 23 appearances for Ghana’s senior national team the Black stars netting 7 goals in the process.
