Ghanaian and Brighton and Hove Albion right back Tariq Lamptey is still sidelined with injury with his timeline of availability currently unclear.
This was confirmed by his club manager Roberto De Zerbi in a press conference ahead of their premier league clash with Bournemouth.
Lamptey missed Ghana’s double header African Cup of nation’s qualifier against Angola due to injury. He was eventually replaced in the squad by Kingsley Schindler.
Brighton manager De Zerbi admitted they needed to find a solution to the unavailability of the Ghanaian right back.
“It’s a difficult situation we will see in the next week but it is important for us not only in first 11 but to have some solution on the bench” he said
“The last game we finished the game with Solly March and Pascal Groß and we have to find other solutions if Lamptey will not be” he added
Tariq Lamptey picked up his injury in a premier league game against West Ham in March.
