The late Christian Atsu was more than a footballer, but also a philanthropist after he impacted lives in Ghanaian society at large and beyond. After his death, Nigerian Comedian and skit maker Emmanuel Iwueke disclosed how he reached out to him to pay his fees, which he did.
Emmanuel Iwueke known as Craze Clown has taken to Twitter to disclose how Christian Atsu supported his education by paying his fees to enable him to secure a job.
The comedian revealed in 2015, he reached out to the former Chelsea man about the death of his father and pleaded for help.
Following that Christian Atsu kept his promise by paying his fees consistently.
He shared his private conversation with Christian Atsu on Twitter as reported by Legit.Ng said “Christian has been supporting me from way back in 2015. āWhen I lost my dad, he l reached out and offered to pay my fees till I graduated and he did.
āYouāve been a great friend of mine, Chris, and I will surely miss you. I really canāt hold back the tears. Rest well brother.
Atsu has been a philanthropist with massive impacts on the Ghanaian community. He has helped free many prisoners.
Atsu was confirmed dead on Saturday, February 18, 2023, by his Turkish agent. His body will be flown to Ghana on Monday, February 19, 2023.
