The rapper, who is seen as the greatest of all time in Africa, spoke to Kumasi-based radio station YFM when he made the revelation on how he recorded 800 yet-to-be-released songs in his archives.

According to Sarkodie, explaining how he recorded those songs, he says he recorded most of the 800 songs when he was jeering to release his third music studio album, “Sarkology”.

“It was an era where I was recording too much. I knew that if I hated that music it will never come out. From that time till now, I still have almost close to 800 songs unreleased,” he told the host Kojo Manuel reported by Myjoyonline.com

In 2022, Sarkodie released his 8th Studio Album which features fast-rising Ghanaian artiste Black Sherif. Earlier this year, the CEO of Sarkcess music, Sarkodie got featured on Bob Marley and the Wailer’s record song “Stir Up”

Sarkodie is the only Ghanaian artiste to have won BET twice, he also won the artiste of the decade at Ghana’s biggest award scheme, the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.  He is the most awarded and successful African rapper.
