Comedian Michael Blackson Names Only 4 Music Stars In Ghana. Ghanaian American comedian, Micahel Blackson, has named only four music stars he knows in Ghana adding that Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, and Black Sherif are the only music stars in Ghana he knows, in his latest Interview.

According to @Michael Blackson, during his latest interview with NORE and DJ EFN on the Drink Champs podcast show, Ghnaians have only four music superstars. He mentioned Reggae Dancehall star Shatta Wale, award-winning rapper Sarkodie, Reggae Dancehall singer Stonebwoy, and fast-rising empire music artist Black Sherif as the quadruple music stars in Ghana.

Michael Blackson revealed Ghana, unlike Nigeria, has limited superstars with International appeal.

The stand-up comedian, who recently built a school in his hometown in the Central Region of Ghana, said Nigeria is the hub of music in Africa. He noted that Nigerian have many superstars in Music who have international appeal, unlike Ghana. Michael said Nigeria is the New York or the Dubai in Africa music.

He went ahead to say that he signed Gambo just to make him the fifth Super Star in Ghana.

Meanwhile, Michael Blackson’s comments on the show generated divided opinions in Ghana.

Fuse ODG has expressed his disappointment over the comments made by the comedian, Micahel Blackson. He says that he was not supposed to make those comments adding that he is not happy.

Fuse said, as he took to Twitter, he has introduced many musicians in Ghana to Michael Blackson so, he was not expecting those comments from him. He added that Michael Blackson went to the platform to embarrass Ghanaians but in an actual sense, he was supposed to educate them.

Micahel Blackson later revealed that his comments is being taken out of context but he only meant that he had known the four musicians he mentioned in the interview. Watch the interview here.
